The yarn sale at the shop is over, but the online sale continues until July 27. That should give me just enough time to ship out the orders received on the 27th and then go on vacation! Woohoo!
I am so ready. The last real vacation I took was two years ago... the week Thomas was born (and he'll be 2 at the end of September!) I'm looking forward to a five-day cruise to Cozumel and Cancun.... lots of down-time to play with yarn and new class ideas for the fall.
Lots of class ideas are starting to gel. Most of the gals who knit are ready for more advanced projects... maybe even a design class! The new yarns have started to arrive and more will come in mid-August to mid-September.
I'm especially excited about 2 ruffled purse classes. One will allow me to teach a 3-needle join to add the ruffles; in the other, the yarn itself will be what ruffles! The yarns for both classes have already arrived. I'm just waiting on the back-ordered purse handles so I can plug the classes into the schedule.
